It is a delicious combination-a cream-puff filled with whipped cream and Marzilade. Dairy products and Marzilade are a perfect combination of taste.

Marzilade-Burger

Marzilade and bisquit put in layers. Marzilade and bisquit-they match. Marzilade is pure delight in combination with sweet bisquit as well as with tasty cheese bisquit.

Sweet Marzilade-Burger

6 eggs - 140 g caster sugar - 1 tbsp lemon juice - 1 tsp baking powder - 125 g plain flour, sifted

Whisk the egg whites until they are stiff. Stir the egg yolks, the caster sugar and the lemon juice until they are foamy. Carefully fold the egg whites and the sifted flour mixed with the baking powder into the egg mixture. Put a buttered baking paper on a baking sheet and carefully spread the creamy mass evenly onto it.

Bake immediately in the preheated oven.

Oven with upper and lower heat: For about 10 minutes at 180-200*

Convection oven: For about 10 minutes at 160-180*

Gas oven: for about 10 minutes mark 3-4

Remove from oven and topple, take off the baking paper and cut the pastry into halves for burgers in the desired size with the help of a round bisquit cutter. After cooling-off spread some Marzilade between the halves, and sift lightly to taste with icing sugar or decorate with a Marzilade-Topping.

Not really a recipe but nonetheless pure delight: Mix a spoonful of your favourite type of Marzilade with a plain yogurt. This is much better than any other yogurt with fruit.

Bilberry-Pancakes

Cook a pancake and spread some Bilberry Marzilade over it. Then reel it up and cut into pieces. Enjoy your meal. This is a tip from Andrea Bigge-many thanks.

Put some custard and your favourite sort of Marzilade together in layers and decorate with whipped cream and fruits. Delicious.

Custard is out – Marzilade is in

We received this charming headline and ‚sweet‘ suggestion from Mr. Jung in the Engelsgrube: chocolate pudding without custard but Marzilade instead. His tip is to try it with Marzilade Apple.

We will try this and other flavours as well. A combination of custard and Marzilade Red Currant or Marzilade Plum also appears to be conceivable. Right?

Many thanks for the tip.
